The technology behind your scan
The most important part of a scan is deciding to get one.
There is always a reason to put your health off. A full calendar. Someone who needs you. The thought that you feel fine, so it can probably wait.
But if you have been wondering what you could learn about your health, taking the step to get a scan matters more than memorizing the specifications of an MRI machine.

Better signal handling, from the start.
At Dragonfly, we want you to feel confident about both the decision you are making and the people and technology behind it.
Dragonfly uses a Philips Ingenia 1.5T digital MRI system. Its dStream technology converts signals from your body into digital data at the receiving coil, close to where they are captured. Analog systems carry signals through cables before conversion, creating more opportunity for loss or interference. dStream digitizes earlier and transmits the data through fiber-optic cables. Learn how Philips compares digital and analog signal paths.
That is why we prefer digital technology. It reduces opportunities for interference, though it does not promise one scanner will find something another would miss.
The Ingenia’s 70-centimeter opening gives you more room during the scan. Philips SmartSpeed software can assist with image reconstruction, while a radiologist still reviews your images. Explore the Philips Ingenia 1.5T.

People make the difference
The team matters just as much as the machine.
A great scan experience is not only about the equipment. It is about having a team that helps you understand your options, supports you through the appointment, and helps you make sense of what happens afterward.
Dragonfly scans include a radiologist’s review, a written report, and a results consultation. The images are important. So is having knowledgeable people who can help you understand the report and prepare for a conversation with your doctor about any findings. See what a Dragonfly scan includes.
You do not need to arrive knowing which scanner specifications matter or exactly what questions to ask. That is why our team is here.

A proactive choice
Make time for the part only you can do.
A Dragonfly Comprehensive Whole-Body MRI takes about one hour and is performed without contrast dye or ionizing radiation. It is an opportunity to look more broadly at your health and learn information you may not have had before. Explore Dragonfly’s scans.
We have invested in advanced digital imaging technology and a world class team to guide you through the process. The step that begins it all is yours.
If you have been waiting for the perfect time to focus on your health, this may be the moment to start.
